JAMALPUR, Sept 12, 2017 (BSS) – Dignity kits were distributed among 100 pregnant women and adolescent girls in Islampur upazila of the district this afternoon.
Dignity kits were distributed among the women and adolescent girls in the flood-affected unions of the upazila under the supervision of Islampur upazila health complex with the assistance of UNFPA.
Each dignity kit contains maxi, scarf, torch light, reusing sanitary napkin, soap, nail cutter, panty and bucket.
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr AKM Shahidur Rahman distributed the kits among them at a simple function.
