SANGSAD BHABAN, July 5, 2018 (BSS) – Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid
today said a total of 144 including public and private universities have been
doing educational activities in the country.
“Presently Central Women University in Dhaka and Asian University for Women in
Chattagram are being continued educational activities in the country,” he said
this, while responding to a starred question from treasury bench member Begum
Selina Akhter Banu in the Jatiya Sangsad.
The minister said of the total some 41 public universities and 103 private
universities are involve for education in the country.
Moreover, coeducational activities are being continued under all other
universities education curriculum across the country out of the two women
varsities, he informed the House.
