DHAKA, Oct 29, 2020 (BSS) – Former president of Bardi union unit of Awami League (AL) under Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district Mohammad Ali passed away while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital here on Wednesday.
He was 85, said a press release here today.
Mohammad Ali left behind four sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Mohammad Ali.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Besides, AL joint general secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim also condoled the death of Mohammad Ali and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
