RAJSHAHI, Oct 29, 2020 (BSS)- Collective efforts of all authorities concerned is very important for making the service-delivery activities of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) patient-friendly.
There is no way but to improve the services of the hospital for betterment of the people in general as many of the common people especially the poor and marginal are totally dependent on it for their emergency needs.
The observation came in a governing council meeting of the hospital held at its conference hall today .
Chaired by the President of the council Fazley Hossain Badsha, MP, the meeting was addressed among others by RMCH Director Brig Gen Jamilur Rahman and college Principal Prof Dr Naoshad Ali.
Lawmaker Badsha called for implementing all operational activities including recruitment of the hospital with transparency and accountability.
He urged the hospital authority to remain alert and cautious so that none can create any sort of anarchic and untoward incident.
“ Emphasis should be given on making all the administrative and management activities including the services of doctors, nurses, medical technologists and others concerned transparent and accountable so that the patients could get total benefits of the hospital”, he said
Badsha put emphasis on ensuring close relations and coordination among the service providers and recipients.
He also stressed the need for intensifying the existing COVID-19 prevention activities for containing its possible second wave during the forthcoming winter season.
