KHULNA, Oct 28, 2020 (BSS) – A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-6) fined two businessmen TK 50,000 on charges of manufacturing duplicate electronic goods with stickers or logos of different branded companies in the city last evening.
Acting on secret information, the mobile court conducted drives at two business establishments at Natun Colony Housing Area under Khalishpur Police Station from 5.15pm to 5.55 pm yesterday and penalized them, a RAB-6 press release today.
The magistrate of the court fined Nazrul Molla, son of Golam Mostofa Molla, resident of Khalishpur Housing area for manufacturing and preserving duplicate toilet and tiles cleaner TK 40,000 and fined another Rafiqul Islam, Manager of Mass Corporation, resident of government B L College Road TK 10,000 for making and preserving duplicate electronic goods.
The businessmen have been selling the duplicate goods through using fake stickers of different brand electronic companies for long , the press release added.
