DSCC mobile court evicts 20 illegal structures at Nayabazar
DHAKA, Oct 27, 2020 (BSS) – A mobile court of Dhaka South City
Corporation (DSCC) has conducted eviction drive for the second
consecutive day at Nawab Yousuf market in Nayabazar under Bangsal
police station following an ongoing eviction drive started since
October 20.
“The DSCC mobile court has evicted 20 illegal establishments at
Nawab Yousuf Market in Nayabazar area as part of the ongoing drive
which is being carried out aiming to make the area free from illegal
encroachers'”, said Executive Magistrate AH Irfan Uddin who led the
mobile court.
The mobile court during this time has also demolished a local
political party office set up illegally in the area.
“We so far have demolished 40 illegal structures since the drive
started on October 20 and the rest of the illegal structures will be
evicted tomorrow when the drive will be started for third time at
around 12pm”, the DSCC executive magistrate added.
