DHAKA, Oct 26, 2020 (BSS) – Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said a met office release here today.
Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Cumilla and Noakhali. It may withdraw from the remaining part of Bangladesh during the next 24 hours. Monsoon is less active over Chattogram region and weak over North Bay.
Maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded by 33.0 degree Celsius at Mongla and minimum temperature today was recorded by 22.2 degree at Tangail.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded by 21millimeters(mm) at Dimla.
