NARSINGDI, June 4, 2018 (BSS)-A daylong workshop on continuous air
monitoring station (CAMS) under the Clean Air Sustainable Environment (CASE)
Project was held at Narsingdi Sadar Upazila Parishad hall room here on
Tuesday.
Narsingdi Sadar Upazila administration organized the workshop.
Dr. SM Monzural Hannan Khan, project director and additional secretary of
Forests and Environment Ministry, addressed the workshop as the chief guest.
Narsingdi Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Selim Reza, ATM Mahabubul
Karim, deputy director of Local Government Division, and Narsingdi Sadar
Upazila Parishad Chairman Monzur Elahi were the special guests.
The workshop mentioned that a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed
for establishment of the continuous air monitoring station. This is one of
the 10 priority projects of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
