DHAKA, Sept 9, 2017 (BSS) – A head-on-collision between a passenger bus and truck killed at least six persons, including two women, and injured 15 others in Borashur area on Dhaka-Khulna highway in Kashiani Upazila of Gopalganj district early this morning.
The accident took place when a Pirojpur-bound passenger bus of Seba Green Line collided head-on with a Dhaka-bound cement laden truck around 5:30 in the morning, officer-in-charge (OC) Ali Noor Hossain of Kashiani Police Station told BSS this noon.
Six persons including two women, truck driver, supervisor and contractor of the bus were killed on the pot and 15 others were injured in the accident, he said, adding that three of the injured people were sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for treatment.
The condition of the bus driver is stated to be critical, he also said.
