DNCC removes 1,155 illegal signboards
Dhaka, Oct 6, 2020 (BSS) – The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) removed a total of 1,155 illegal signboards from Uttara area of the capital today, on the third day of its ongoing drive against illegal structures.
The evicted signboards were sold at an auction at Tk 81,938, said a press release.
Besides, the DNCC mobile courts realized over Taka 11.40 lakh and filed 56 cases for various offence.
The eviction drive was conducted by Regional Executive Officer while the mobile courts were conducted by Executive Magistrates – Abed Ali, Sazia Afrin, M Abdul Hamid Mia, Zulker Nayen and Motakabbir Ahmed.
