PM’s 74th birth day: special doa mahfil held at Baitul Mukarram mosque

DHAKA, Sept 28, 2020 (BSS) – To mark the 74th birth day of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a qurankhani, doa and munazat seeking her good health and long life was held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque this noon, an official release said here today.

Senior cleric of the mosque Mufti Mawlana Mizanur Rahman conducted the doa mahfil which was arranged by Islamic Foundation.

The munazat was also sought eternal peace of the departed souls of the martyrs of August 15 and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

During the mahfil, they prayed for peace, prosperity and development of the country and urged for blessings of the almighty as the whole world including Bangladesh would be free from the curse of the corona virus as soon as possible.

The Islamic Foundation organized the programme at all its division, district and upazila level central mosques after the Johr prayer.

Islamic Foundation Director General Anis Mahmud, directors, deputy directors, other employees and officials of the foundation and muslims devotees also took part in the doa mahfil.
