DHAKA, July 2, 2018 (BSS) – Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad
Nasim today urged field level officials to work sincerely for successful
implementation of the family planning programme.
“You (field level officials) should visit every house to educate people
about different aspects of family planning,” he told a meeting, an official
release said.
Nasim said the country has witnessed a good progress in the health sector
in the past nine years as the government has implemented various programmes.
Bangladesh has set an example for development of maternal and child
health, which has been lauded globally, he added.
Health Education and Family Planning Secretary GM Saleh Uddin, Director
General of Directorate of Family Planning Dr Kazi Mostafa Sarwar and senior
officials, among others, were present at the meeting.
