DHAKA, Sept 19, 2020 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain or thundershowers
accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places
over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and weather remain dry
elsewhere over the country.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, a met office
release said here today.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajasthan, Hariyana, Uttar
Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across Central part of Bangladesh. One
of its associated troughs extends up to the North Bay. Monsoon is less active
over Bangladesh and weak over the North Bay.
Country’s highest temperature 36.2 degree Celsius was recorded on Friday
in Bhola and the lowest one 24.2 degree Celsius was recorded today in
Tetulia.
Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded by 69
millimeters (mm) in Dinajpur.
The sun sets at 5.57 pm today and rises at 05.46 am tomorrow in the
capital.
