Doa mahfils held for early recovery of Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury
DHAKA, Sept 18, 2020 (BSS) – A doa and milad mahfil were held today at different places in the country seeking early recovery of State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, who was tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).
A doa mahfil was held at Eskatan Garden officers’ quarter mosque after Jummah prayers today.
Government’s high officials and leaders and workers of Awami League and its associate bodies joined the prayers.
Khatib of the mosque Mawlana Abdul Awal conducted the doa mahfil.
Besides, doa and milad mahfil were held at Chattogram, Mongla, Payra ports and Chattogram Marine Academy after Jummah prayers.
Doh Mahfil was also held at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University jame mosque.
