DHAKA, Sept 14, 2020 (BSS)- Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound and deep shock at the death of veteran actor Sadek Bacchu.
In a condolence message, the information minister, who is now visiting Belgium, said stage, radio, television and film arenas have been enriched with the powerful performance of Sadek Bachchu.
The death of National Film Award winning artist Bacchu has cast a pall of gloom on the country’s theatre and film arenas, said Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary.
The information minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Veteran actor Sadek Bachchu passed away at a hospital in Dhaka this morning at the age of 65. He tested Covid-19 positive.
