Appellate Division gets two more judges
DHAKA, Oct 8, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today appointed two judges to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court as per Article 95 (1) of the Constitution.
The appointed Justices are: Tariq ul Hakim and Obaidul Hassan of the High Court Division.
Law and Justice Division today issued a circular in this regard, saying that their appointments will come into effect from the date of taking oath.
With the appointment of two new judges, the number of justices in the Appellate Division stood at eight.
