Admirers pay tribute to Sufi saint Mainuddin Ahmed Maizbhandari
DHAKA, Aug 20, 2020 (BSS) – Admirers and followers have paid rich tributes to leading Sufi saint of the contemporary age Syed Mainuddin Ahmed Maizbhandari joining a discussion and special prayers coinciding with his ninth anniversary of demise in the port city of Chattogram.
A preacher of inclusive Sufi ideology and elder daughter of the saint Syeda Sayema Ahmad organized the prayers joined by several religious and Sufi scholars while philanthropist and industrialist Mohammad Fakhrul Anwar who founded Nanupur Laila Kabir Degree College addressed the annual function.
Principal Allama ANM Delwar Hossain Alqaderi chaired the function, addressed by Maulana Kazi Mohammad Tawhidul Anwar, Gazi Mohammad Nurul Haque Shah Maizbhandari and Maulana Mohammad Shawkat Hossain.
