Hasan mourns death of renowned music director Alauddin Ali

DHAKA, Aug 9, 2020 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of eminent composer and music director Alauddin Ali.

In a condolence message, remembering the outstanding contribution of Alauddin to music arena for the long four decades, the minister said many eminent singers of the sub-continent included Bangladesh, India and Pakistan have enriched themselves by singing to the tune of composer, music director, violinist and lyricist Alauddin Ali.

Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, said the songs of the National Award winning composer and music director have created a huge popularity in the Bangla films.

The minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Alauddin Ali passed away at a city hospital at 5:30 pm today at the age of 67.

The legendary of Bangladesh’s music industry had been suffering from cancer for a long.
