RANGPUR, Aug 29, 2017 (BSS)-Rail communications on the Lalmonirhat- Burimari route resumed this morning after 16 days.
“Rail communications resumed at 8am on the route after a Burimari-bound commuter train left Lalmonirhat after completing repairing works,” said Assistant Traffic Superintend of Bangladesh Railway at Lalmonirhat Junction Sajjat Hossain.
Rail communication on the route was suspended on August 13 following damage of the rail track at several points due to intrusion of floodwater.
