CHANDPUR, Aug 28, 2017(BSS) – A total of 312 houses of Hugli and Hamcha villages under Faridganj upazila of the district have been brought under the rural electrification network by Chandpur Palli Bidyut Samity-2.
Local lawmaker Dr Shamsul Haque Bhuiyan formally inaugurated the 4.17-kilometer new electrification line over telephone this morning.
Local leaders of Awami League, including Abul Kashem Aazd, Moshiur Rahman, Elias Beg and Mujibur Rahman, among others, were present at the function.
Chandpur Palli Bidyut Samity-2 implemented the programme at a cost of Taka 62.60 lakh, said AGM Monir Hossain of Chandpur Palli Bidyut Samity-2.
