DHAKA, July 13, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed deep shock at the death of Jamuna Group chairman Nurul Islam Babul.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Recalling the contribution of Babul to the country’s economic development, particularly in the flourishing of industrial sector, Quader said the country has lost a courageous entrepreneur with modern thoughts at his death.
Nurul Islam Babul died of COVID-19 today at the age of 74.
He breathed his last in the afternoon while undergoing treatment at the Evercare Hospital in the capital.
