DHAKA, July 11, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in parts of the country in next 24 hours since 9am today.
“Light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensigh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, at many places over Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at some places across the country in next 24-hour since 9am today,” a met office release said.
Day temperature may fall 1-2 degrees Celsius and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
Country’s highest temperature on Friday was recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius at Jashore and lowest one today was 23.0 degrees Celsius at Nikli.
Today’s sunset in the capital will be at 6.49 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5.19am.
