Spain so far has secured five points from three matches while Morocco failed to collect any point from the same number of matches.

Earlier, Spain played out to a 3-3 goal draw with Portugal in their group opening match and beat Iran by 1-0 goal in their second match.

Spain having better goal average then Portugal topped the group while Portugal finished as runners-up.

Morocco, which made exit from the World Cup championship race, lost to Iran by 0-1 goal in their group opening match and suffered a 0-1 goal defeat to Portugal in their second group match.

The result, combined with Spain’s late equalise in their 2-2 draw with Morocco – means Portugal will play Uruguay in the next round and Spain will meet Russia in the next round.
