AL-EXTENDED-MEETING
AL special extended meeting on June 30, July 7
DHAKA, June 25, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League will hold special extended meeting with party presidents and general secretaries of union level and AL union parishad chairmen in two phases on June 30 and July 7.
AL union level presidents and general secretaries and union parishad chairmen from Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Barishal divisions will join the meeting on June 30 at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s official Ganabhaban residence at 11am.
Leaders from Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur and Khulna divisions will attend the meeting on July 7 at 11.30am at the same venue.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said this at a press conference at the party president’s Dhanmondi political office here.
AL Joint General Secretaries Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif and Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Organising Secretaries Ahmed Hossain, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury and AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, Cultural Affairs Secretary Asim Kumar Ukil, Education and Human Resource Affairs Secretary Shamsunnahar Chapa, Deputy Publicity Secretary Aminul Islam Amin, Deputy Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua, Awami League Central Working Committee members SM Kamal Hossain and Advocate Riazul Kabir Kawser were present on the occasion, among others.
Quader said Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold the meetings with the union level leaders.
Earlier, AL held an extended meeting with municipality and upazila level leaders on June 23.
