DHAKA, July 3, 2020 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today expressed deep shock at the death of senior journalist Faruk Quazi.
Faruk, a former deputy press secretary of the prime minister, passed away in his sleep at his Elephant Road residence in city this morning. He was 71.
A former president of Law Reporters Forum, Faruk worked for Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), Banglar Bani, UNB, daily Observer, among others in his long and illustrious career.
The law minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
