Ivy Zaman’s solo art exhibition begins
DHAKA, June 25, 2018 (BSS) – A solo sculpture and painting exhibition of
Ivy Zaman began at Nalini Kanta Bhattasali Exhibition Gallery of Bangladesh
National Museum in the capital today.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor was present at the opening
ceremony as the chief guest, said a press release.
Bangladesh National Museum in association with Abinta Gallery of Fine
Art organised the 4th solo exhibition of the sculptor.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, prominent
educationist Professor Borhanuddin Khan Jahangir, noted cartoonist Rafiqun
Nabi, eminent artist Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, urban specialist Professor
Nazrul Islam and Summiot Group chairman Muhammed Aziz Khan, among others,
were present at the programme.
The exhibition is open for visitors from 10am to 7pm till July 10.
