UN delegation calls on Army chief
DHAKA, June 25, 2018 (BSS)- A five-member delegation of United Nations led by
Jean Pierre Lacroix, under secretary general of Department of Peacekeeping
Operations (DPKO), called on newly appointed Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed at
Army Headquarters in city’s Cantonment area today.
They exchanged greetings and discussed different issues of bilateral
interests during the meeting, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)
press release here.
It is expected that the visit of the delegation of DPKO will play an
important role in strengthening the existing friendly relationship between
Bangladesh Army and the United Nations, the release added.
