DHAKA, July 2, 2020 (BSS) – Former advisory council member of Bagura district Awami League (AL) Khalilur Rahman Khan passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bagura last night (Wednesday).
He was 75, said a press release here today.
Khalil, also former president and general secretary of Bagura sadar upazila unit of AL, left behind wife, a son, three daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Khalilur Rahman Khan.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
