Hong Kong shares well up at lunch

HONG KONG, July 2, 2020 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks went into the break more than one percent higher Thursday, in line with an Asia-wide advance and despite worries about a new security law imposed on the city by China.

The Hang Seng Index rose 1.48 percent, or 361.27 points, to 24,788.46.
