152 more stranded Bangladeshi return from UAE

DHAKA, July 1, 2020 9BSS) – A total of more 152 stranded
Bangladeshi nationals today returned home from Abu Dhabi of United
Arab Emirates (UAE) by a chartered flight ofs US-Bangla Airline.

“The special flight, carrying the Bangladeshi citizens from Abu
Dhabi, took off at 2:00 am (Abu Dhabi time) and landed at the Hazrat
Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 8:50 am,” said US-Bangla
Airlines spokesperson Kamrul Islam.

The airlines operated the special chartered flight under the
supervision of Bangladesh Air Force Welfare Trust to facilitate
repatriation of Bangladeshis who were stuck in Abu Dhabi due to
COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier, the US-Bangla airlines, country’s largest private carrier,
brought back numbers of stranded Bangladeshi nationals by operating
several chartered flights from Chennai, Kolkata, New Delhi, Kuala
Lumpur, Bangkok, Abu Dhabi and Dubai to Dhaka amid flight suspension.
