China sends more medical supplies to Bangladesh to fight COVID-19

DHAKA, June 29, 2020 (BSS) – China has provided more medical supplies to Bangladesh government to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic properly.

The medical supplies included – 9 High-flow heated respiratory humidifier, 18 High-flow heated respiratory humidifiers Solution-A, 18 High-flow heated respiratory humidifiers Solution-B, and 9 High-flow heated respiratory humidifiers Shelf, a foreign ministry press release said here today.

Bangladesh foreign ministry’s director general F M Borhan Uddin received the medical equipment from the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.

Representatives of the health directorate and Chinese mission here were also present.

China has so far donated medical equipment and materials, including detection kits and tubes, ventilators, masks, thermometers, goggles, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to Bangladesh.

Besides, Chinese companies and charity groups like Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation have also contributed medical equipment and materials to Bangladesh in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
