DHAKA, June 29, 2020 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Laila Arjumand Banu, wife of Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque.
In a condolence message, the head of the state prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Arjumand Banu breathed her last at about 7:45 am today at Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka. She was 71.
She left behind her husband, one son, two daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
