Govt working for sustainable development in electricity: Ranga
RANGPUR, June 24, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives
Moshiur Rahman Ranga today said the government is working for the sustainable
development of the country’s electricity sector.
“Government is working for the sustainable development of power generation
and distribution management. A mega plan is being accomplished in electricity
sector following the slogan ‘Sheikh Hasina’s initiative, electricity from
door to door’,” he said.
Ranga said while addressing as the chief guest a solar home system
distribution programme, said a press release.
“There would be 100 percent electricity coverage in Gangachara upazila by
December, 2018,” the state minister said, adding that the government needs
the support of all political, professional and countrymen irrespective of
religion and race.
Local Jatiya Party leaders were present at the event.
