England dump Panama 6-1 in World Cup

DHAKA, June 24, 2018 (BSS) – Title aspirants England were in no mood to flirt as their skipper Harry Kane struck a superb hattrick as they dumped hapless Panama by 6-1 goals in the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Group G match held at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium in Russia.

England led by their skipper Harry Kane brilliance,led 5-0 in the first half.

Captain Harry Kane joined the battle for leading goal scorers in this World Cup when he converted two penalties and scored another goal to complete his hattrick, third by a Englishman in the their World cup history.

First was Geoff Hurst in 1966 final and the second hattrick was achieved by Gary Linekar against Poland in 1990.

John Stone scored two goals and Linegard added the other one for England. Baloy scored the consolation goal for Panama.

Harry Kane became the leading scorer in this World Cup with five goals while Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku follows him four goals each also from two matches.
