DHAKA, June 24, 2018 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain or thundershowers
accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes are likely to occur
at most places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Rangpur , Mymensingh
and Sylhet divisions in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
It also may occur at many places over Rajshahi division with moderately
heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country during the period, said
a met office press release here today.
Trough of low extends from Bihar to Northwest Bay across Gangetic West
Bengal, the release said, adding that southwest monsoon is active over
Bangladesh and moderate to strong over North Bay.
Day and night temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius over the country
by tomorrow morning.
