Belgium beat Tunisia by 5-2 goals in World Cup

DHAKA, June 23, 2018 (BSS) – Belgium beat Tunisia by 5-2 goals in their second group G match of the FIFA World Cup held on Saturday at Otkritie Arena in Moscow, Russia.

Belgium skipper Eden Hazard put his side ahead early in the 6th minute from a penalty while Romelu Lukaku doubled the lead for Belgium in the 16th minute.

Dylan Bronn pulled one back for Tunisia in the 18th minute.

Lukaku further widened the team’s margin scoring his second and third for Belgium in the 45+3 minute of the match while after the lemon break, Eden Hazard scored his second goal and fourth for Belgium in the 51st minute.

Batshuayi scored the fifth goal for Belgium in the 90th minute while Tunisia skipper Wahbi Khazri reduced the margin scoring the second goal for his team in the 90+2 minute of the match.

With this victory, Belgium secured six points from two matches and confirmed their knock out stage clash while Tunisia yet to secured any points playing the same number of outings.

Belgium will play their next match against England while Tunisia will meet Panama on June 28.

Earlier, Belgium beat Panama by 3-0 goals while Tunisia suffered a 1-2 goal defeat to England in both their respective group opening matches.
