Former SCC mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran brought to CMH

DHAKA, June 7, 2020 (BSS) – Former mayor of Sylhet City Corporation
(SCC) and Central Working Committee Member of Awami League Badar Uddin
Ahmed Kamran was brought to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the
city today by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force.

Kamran was brought to the Dhaka CMH on emergency basis from a Sylhet
hospital where he was admitted on Saturday after being infected with
coronavirus, said an Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) press
release.

At the same time, Kamran’s wife Asma Kamran, son Dr Arman Ahmed
Shiplu and his brother Anam Ahmed were also flown to Dhaka by the same
helicopter.

According to the release, the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has been
providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC)
assistance in aid to civil power under Bangladesh Armed Forces.

In line with this, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force, Air
Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat provided necessary guidance to
carry out the medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) mission.
