Hasan condoles death of Fazle Karim’s elder brother Fazle Rabbi
DHAKA, June 4, 2020 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of ABM Fazle Rabbi Chowdhury Manik, elder brother of Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railways Ministry ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury.
In a condolence message, Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary and elected Member of the Parliament from Chattogram-7 constituency, recalled Rabbi’s contributions to the country’s politics and social welfare activities.
The minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Fazle Rabbi breathed his last following a cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at a city hospital this noon at the age of 70.
He was third among the five sons and three daughters of AKM Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury, opposition leader in the provincial assembly of the then East Pakistan, and Sajeda Kabir Chowdhury.
