DHAKA, June 4, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places across the country in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over the country till tomorrow morning,” a met office release said.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
Country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 36.4 degrees Celsius at Jashore and lowest one today 18.5 degrees Celsius at Nikli.
The highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 66millimeters (mm) at Cumilla.
The sun sets at 06-44 pm today and rises at 05-11 am tomorrow in the capital.
