3 killed in Naogaon road accident

RAJSHAHI, June 22, 2018 (BSS) – Three persons, including two mango traders, were killed in two separate road accidents in Naogaon district today, police said.

The deceased were identified as Abdus Sobhan, 25, of Chapainawabgonj district, Hero, 30, of Bhola district and Labbayek, 8, of Naogaon.

Shamsul Alam, Officer-in-Charge of Shapaher Police Station, said mango traders Abdus Salam and Hero were killed on the spot when a speeding truck knocked them down at Godawonpara. They were waiting for a bus on the road
around 9.30 am.

Minor boy Labbayek was killed on the spot when another truck hit him from his behind at Kellamuri village under Badalgachhi Upazila, said Jalal Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Badalgaachhi Police Station.

Two separate cases were filed. The bodies were sent to the hospital morgue for post mortem.
