PM formally publishes SSC results

DHAKA, May 31, 2020 (BSS)- The results of Secondary School Certificate
(SSC) and equivalent examinations-2020 under 11 education boards were
published today with 82.87 percent pass.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally published the results through a
videoconference from her official Ganabhaban residence here this morning,
PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni handed over a summary of the results to
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina online from her secretariat office.
Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel
was present on the occasion.

PM’s Principal Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus and PMO Secretray Tofazzal
Hossain Mian were present at Ganabhaban, while Secretary of Secondary and
Higher Secondary Division Md. Mahbub Hossain moderated the results handing
ceremony at the Ministry of Education.

A total of 1,690523 out of 2,040,028 have become successful in the SSC and
equivalent examinations this year.

Last year, a total of 21, 27,815 students appeared in the SSC and
equivalent examinations under the 10 education boards.
Of them, 17, 49,165 students passed the examination with 82.20
percent success rate.
