SC to continue virtual operation till June 15
DHAKA, May 30, 2020 (BSS) – Both the divisions of the Supreme Court will
continue their operations virtually and in line with apex court’s practice
direction.
The decision came after discussions between chief justice and other judges
of the Supreme Court, said an apex court notification signed by its registrar
general Md Ali Akbar.
The apex court on May 10 issued 15 practice directions for the Appellate
Division and another 15 for the High Court Division to conduct court
proceedings through video conferencing.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain today formed 11 benches to
conduct trial at the High Court Division virtually till June 15.
