CHATTOGRAM, May 23, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 161 more people were tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the three Covid-19 laboratories in Chattogram district in last 24 hours.
With this, the total numbers of COVID-19 patients rose to 1483 only in Chattogram district till today.
Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi told BSS that a total of 37 people were tested positive afresh for coronavirus after testing 247 samples at BITID in last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 100 more new COVID-19 patients were identified at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) lab after testing 209 samples in two days.
On the other hand 24 corona patients were detected at CVASU lab after testing 89 samples in the same period.
So far, 50 people died in Chattogram district due to COVID-19 and 146 persons were released from the hospital in the same time, the sources added.
