Motorcyclist killed as tree branch falls on him
KHULNA, June 21, 2018 (BSS) – A motorcycle rider was killed and two
pillion riders were injured when a tree branch fell on them at Kalna village
under Maharajpur Union of Koyra upazila here this noon.
The deceased was identified as Tipu Shikder, 47, owner of a motorcycle
rental shop at Koyra upazila in Khulna.
Police and local people said Neelima Rani, 25, and his minor son, 7, went
to the Kashiabad area of Koyra upazila by a rented motor cycle.
As they reached Kalna village, a tree branch fell on them, leaving them
seriously injured.
The motorcycle owner cum driver Tipu Shikder and two passengers were
rushed to local health complex where duty doctor declared Tipu died.
