Online meeting held on producing TV spot ‘Bangabandhu Pratidin’

DHAKA, May 19, 2020 (BSS) – An online meeting of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee was held on producing a TV spot titled ‘Bangabandhu Pratidin’.

“The TV spot ‘Bangabandhu Pratidin’, being produced by highlighting the daily life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the ‘poet of politics’, helps us understand how Bangabandhu became the undisputed leader of the Bengali nation and how he turned the Bengali nation into an independent nation-state of Bangladesh,” said chief coordinator of the national implementation committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury.

The chief coordinator said this while presiding over the special virtual meeting on the production of the daily TV spot ‘Bangabandhu Pratidin’ on Monday afternoon in the city, said a press release.

‘Bangabandhu Pratidin’ is being broadcast on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and private TV channels since the day of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the inauguration ceremony of Mujib Year on March 17.

The TV spot is being produced by BTV and the Association of Television Channel Owners (ATCO) with funding from the Ministry of Information and under the overall supervision of the chief coordinator of the national implementation committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury.

Invited members of the national implementation committee participated in the meeting through the online app ‘Zoom’. Members of the team engaged in research, content preparation, graphic design, background voice and broadcasting work for ‘Bangabandhu Pratidin’ TV spot also attended at the meeting.

Director General of the Bangladesh Television SM Harun-ur-Rashid and ATCO Senior Vice President and Ekattor TV Managing Director Mozammel Babu, among others, also took part.
