Muktijoddha SKC beat Rahmatganj 3-2 in BPL Football

DHAKA, Aug 21, 2017 (BSS)-Egyptian forward Esian Mohamed Zaki Sarhan scored a brace as Muktijoddha Sangad Krira Chakra beat old Dhaka ‘outfit’ Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society by 3-2 goal in the Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League Football held on Friday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

In the day’s match, Ghanaian forward Ismael Bangoura put Ragmatganj ahead in the 15th minute with a brilliant header after utilizing a cross from Saddam Hossain from left flank (1-0) while Amzad Ali restored the parity for Muktijoddha with a close range superb volley in the 22nd minute (2-0).

Esian Mohamed Zaki gave the freedom fighters a deserving lead in the 27th minute. Taking a pass from Saikat he ran down inside the D box with a solo effort and sent the ball home with a perfect angular shot (2-1).

The traditional old Dhaka ‘outfit’ Rahmatganj had a chance to restore the parity in the 35th minute, but Nigerian defender Munday Osgair’s powerful shot sailed harmlessly kissing over the cross bar.

In the injury time of the first half, Esian Mohammad scored his second and third for the team with a close range shot to give Muktijoddha a 3-1 lead.

Ismael Bangoura reduced the margin for Rahmatganj in the 63rd minute with a brilliant close range header in the 63rd minute of the match (3-2).
