DHAKA, May 6, 2020 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of ruling Awami League lawmaker from Dhaka-5 (Demra-Dania-Matuail) Constituency and valiant freedom fighter Habibur Rahman Mollah.
In a condolence message, President Hamid said, “Habibur Rahman Mollah was the leader of the mass people . . . His death has created a huge void in country’s politics that will never be fulfilled.”
The head of the state prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Habibur Rahman Mollah breathed his last due to old-age complications around 9:50 am today at the age of 78 while undergoing treatment at a city hospital.
