Bangladesh pavilion awarded at Korean travel fair
DHAKA, June 18, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh pavilion achieved the “Best Booth
Operation Award-2018” at 33rd KOTFA (Korea World Travel Fair) held in Seoul
from June 14 to June 17, according to a message received here today.
The Bangladesh pavilion clinched the title after competing with 55
pavilions at the expo, the largest international travel fair in Korea where
70 countries participated to promote their tourism resources and cultures.
Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB) with the assistance of Bangladesh Embassy
in Korea joined the fair to promote Bangladesh tourism in front of the Korean
crowd.
The KOTFA organizing committee handed over a crest as award to the BTB
officials at the closing ceremony of the fair.
More than 500 Korean and other nationals visited the Bangladesh pavilion
and showed their interest to visit Bangladesh during the four-day KOTFA.
A Bangladesh delegation comprising officials of civil aviation and tourism
ministry, BTB and local tour operators participated at the fair and sold
different tour packages of attractive tourist destinations of Bangladesh to
the intending inbound travelers.
