RAJSHAHI, June 18, 2018 (BSS) – Local city unit of 14-party alliance extended support to AHM Khairuzzaman Liton in his upcoming mayoral election of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).
The alliance took the decision in a meeting held at city unit office of Bangladesh Awami League here on Friday.
Chaired by the alliance city unit coordinator and city Awami League President AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, the meeting was attended, among others, by Fazley Hossain Badsha, MP, and Liakat Ali Liku from Workers Party of Bangladesh, Dablu Sarker from Awami League and Mustafizur Rahman Khan from National Awami Party.
The meeting decided that all the alliance leaders and workers will work unitedly to make the boat symbol win in the election scheduled to be held on July 30.
