Govt to provide all supports for protein production: Rezaul
DHAKA, April 9, 2020 (BSS) – Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim said the government would provide all-out supports to the farm owners for producing fish, meat, milk and egg during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
In a video message issued yesterday, he urged the farm owners and others concerned to continue production of fish, meat, milk and egg, a ministry press release said today.
Calling upon people not to be panicked about coronavirus, Rezaul said: “You should eat fish, meat, milk and egg regularly to boost your immune system to fight the deadly virus”.
The Fisheries and Livestock Ministry has taken an initiative to release video messages to create awareness among the people on the necessity of fish, meat, milk and egg in their diets to fight coronavirus.
